Full Workshop Description
This in depth interactive weekend intensive combines the teachings of Taoist and Tantric Sacred Sexual practices to take you on a journey exploring what is possible when we tap into our most powerful creative energy. A combination of knowledge and hands on practice help you to understand the physiology and energetic responses of your personal sexual and energetic systems and how you can use this to deepen your connection with your partners as well as how to focus this energy into other important areas of your life. Friday will focus on introducing concepts, creating safe space and learning about participants. Saturday Morning will focus on information and basic techniques and exercises. Saturday Afternoon we will work to build and move Chi through various exercises done solo and in partnership with others in a safe space and always and at choice as to your level of participation. Sunday we will expand further and build on the techniques we have learned. There will be an opportunity to experience a puja and shared experience of Mandala Sacred Energy with the entire group.
We will explore the core energies of life (ki, chi, mana, prana, orgone, etc.) and how to use them to do more than survive life, while grabbing a little more pleasure along the way. How often in our busy lives with our long list of to-do’s do we stop and take a moment just to “be”? To commune with ourselves, the universe, or those we love? Together, we will explore how to unwrap ourselves from this busy nature, to be fully present and integrate the sacred in every day. We will work toward experiencing boundless energy, powerful focus, vibrant health and joyful balance. In this workshop we will work with you to find ways to get out of your own way and back in the flow. You will learn tools and habits that will help help create the life of your dreams that will also help you address many issues along the way.
We will be working with is the core of our being, attraction, polarity, life-force energy and how it is channeled and expressed in life. We will do solo, partner and group exercises that will involve visualization, movement, touch, breath and harnessing what is inside us to help us connect, in a safe and playful way, to our true sources of power and enjoyment. During each section of the workshop will build on the previous to help each person explore and understand energy flow and integration of body, mind and spirit. Using ancient and modern tools, we will work with the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions to help participants create shifts in awareness and behavior, expanding their ability to play more fully in life.

Robyn Trask
Robyn L Trask is the Executive Director of Loving More Nonprofit for polyamory awareness and a major activist in the polyamory movement. Robyn began her journey into sacred sexual practices at the age of 18 when she was first introduced to Taoist methods and beliefs of sacred sexuality by a Taoist lover. Thus began her study of the connection between spirituality and sexuality. Robyn has developed through this study a deep understanding of self and relationships.
Robyn began teaching and Facilitating Sacred Sex workshops in 1998. Her approach is a little different from other Sacred Sex teachers in that she seeks to move away from the polarization of what we commonly call the masculine and feminine energies and to integrate different types of energy within each person. She believes that genderization of emotions or energy such as compassion, aggression, empathy, caring, assertiveness and such into “masculine” and/or “feminine” qualities brings us out of harmony with our internal energy since “masculine” and/or “feminine” categories carry both negative and positive connotations. Her approach is seeking a balance of energies within each person so people can create a harmonious exchange with lovers on a deep and satisfying level. She works with singles, male female couples, same sex couples, and polyamorous triads, quads etc.
Studying and working with Sacred Sexuality for the past thirty years has given Robyn a deep understanding of Sacred Sexuality. This is lifetime passion that has given Robyn a zest for love and life, as well as a passion share her experience with individuals who want to take love, relationships and sexuality beyond the game playing to a dance of joy and experiencing the pulsing life of the universe.
Julio Cortés
Julio Cortés is a love and relationship coach who specializes in building long-term mutually beneficial relationships. Using a blend of eastern teachings, movement, sacred sexual and spiritual practices, Julio helps his clients access their bodies in profound and liberating ways. This synergistic approach assist people in balancing and integrating disparate parts of themselves so that they can be freer, happier and more effective in their lives.
Julio teaches workshops and seminars on effective communication, relationship skills building and sacred sexuality. He has studied with such teachers and masters as Dan Millman, Sanaya Roman, Burton Richardson, Mantak Chia, Wang Fu-lai, Jibiki Hidemine, Ron Luyet, and Jim Tamm and has been teaching and in practice since 1991 in the United States and Japan.
In addition Julio is also a licensed Tai Chi instructor with additional extensive martial arts training in other systems (Jeet Kune Do, Shunan Hsing I, Systema). Finally, Julio has had in-depth intensive training in energy work and is a master healer and teacher in several modalities (Reiki, Johrei, Sekhem, Qigong, Light Body).
